I was worried the pattern wouldn’t be fine enough to be very interesting on my smaller slip joints, but no worries at all. I am very impressed with the amount and consistency of the pattern across the bar.

Good product and price. Used for kitchen knives and makes a great blade.

I've created a handful of knives from these steels. They take an excellent finish and support a fine edge well. The Damascus is beautiful, and it has been fun experimenting with different combinations of HCl and ferric etching processes. Curiously, my touchmark etches yellowish/gold in the stainless, as opposed to black, in a high carbon steel.
