Excellent product which performs extremely well. I used this to help in the restoration of raw brass hardware (bathroom and kitchen faucets) after cleaning and darkening to give bronze patina. The wax really finishes the patina beautifully and water repels off it - a little goes a long way, so don’t be put off by the price!
Rigidiser and firebricks were fantastic, the castable refractory was unusable. Unable to form a spreadable consistency, due to the pebbly mixture. Consistency of muddy gravel that would not spread well and would not adhere to the walls of the forge.
