• Carbon – 0.65%
• Chromium – 14.0%
• Nitrogen – 0.15%
• Silicone – 0.20%
• Manganese – 0.70%
• Phosphorus – <0.03%
• Sulphur – <0.01%

Recommended Heat Treatment 

• Coat blade in anti-scale compound or seal in stainless steel tool wrap
• Austenitise at 1050°C, hold for 5 minutes
• Oil quench — reach 600°C within 1–2 minutes, room temperature within 30 minutes
• Cryo treat immediately — liquid nitrogen, dry ice slurry, or freezer for 1+ hour
• Allow blade to return to room temperature in ambient air
• Temper at 150–200°C for 2 hours, twice
