Description
TeroTuf Polyester Composite Scales
- Scale Set 9.5 x 38 x 127mm (3/8" x 1.5" x 5")
TeroTuf is a composite material made from polyester resin and fabric. It is most comparable to canvas micarta (CE grade phenolics).
- Safer then traditional Micarta materials due to being made by polyester resin
- No glass fiber particulates are created like G10
- Higher shock resistance then G10, Micarta and Carbon fiber
- High grip when wet
- Rated for temperatures up to 90°C
- Light weight and Easy to machine
TeroTuf does not buff to a fine finish like you might be able to do with micarta and is typically left with a rough finish. It is a great option for use on hard use edc knives, choppers, axes etc where weight, grip and shock absorption are important.
