How to Safely Melt Beeswax Pellets:

  1. Prepare a Double Boiler: Fill a larger pot with one to two inches of water and place a heat-safe bowl or smaller pot inside.
  2. Heat Gently: Turn the heat to medium and allow the water to simmer.
  3. Add Beeswax: Place the beeswax pellets in the upper pot or bowl.
  4. Stir Occasionally: Gently stir the melting beeswax with a heat-resistant spatula.
  5. Monitor Temperature: Keep the temperature around 145°F (63°C) to avoid overheating or burning the beeswax.
  6. Finish: Once fully melted, carefully remove the container from the double boiler using gloves for protection.

Safety Tip: Always use the double boiler method for melting beeswax to prevent any risk of ignition. Never heat beeswax directly over an open flame.
