Stamps are made from tool steel, up to 30mm round. Simple designs produce the sharpest results, so keep it bold and minimal where you can.
FAQ
What size can you make? Up to 30mm round. Larger stamps may be available on custom request.
What's the difference between hot and cold stamping? Hot stamping is done when the steel is red hot and soft. this is the recommended method for most makers marks. Cold stamping works for smaller stamps under 15mm on annealed steel, but requires significant force and if done wrong can damage the stamp.
What do you need from me to place an order? A clean black-on-white image of your design, and the size you want. If you need help with your logo and sizing please reach out.
What format should my artwork be in? Black on white, vector file preferred. Black areas will sink into the material, white areas will be the untouched surface. However if you need assistance with your image we can help.
How long does it take? Typically ~1 week after your order is confirmed.
Do you ship internationally? Yes. All orders include tracking and insurance.
What's the warranty? 12 months against manufacturing defects. Not covered: use on cold steel, overpressing, or using it as anything other than a stamp.
