A strong, heat-reversible hot melt adhesive perfect for setting hidden tang knife handles. Simply fill your handle with the granules, Heat the tang and lower your blade into allow the glue to melt around it. You get a solid, secure hold for daily use, but when it's time to repair, swap, or remove a handle, a bit of heat releases the bond cleanly without damaging the handle material or tang. No epoxy mess, no destructive drilling out, just heat and lift.

The black colour is a practical bonus for handle work: if any glue seeps out at the top of the handle during setting, it blends in discreetly rather than leaving an obvious pale smear to clean up or sand back.

Other Traditional Uses

This is an EVA-based hot melt adhesive originally designed for industrial edgebanding — bonding PVC edge bands onto wood board edges. It works across full-automatic, semi-automatic, and manual edgebanding machines, and performs well across a range of machine speeds. It's particularly well suited to portable edgebanders such as the Aaron PEB50/CEB50 and Co-Matic BR500/AR500, offering reliable bonding strength, good heat resistance, and clean application without stringing.
