Lovel old steel just what i wanted to my clock restoration.
I recently purchased a LPG Devil Forge and brushed on the clay based rigidiser on the ceramic matting inside forge but unfortunately I heated the forge to quickly and cracked the coating exposing the ceramic fiber. I had come across this liquid ceramic fiber sealer doing a web search so I thought why not use this as a top coat on the cracked ceramic matting, I ordered a 1 Litre bottle with spray head already attached which i must say arrived within 4 days of placing order, I applied a couple of coats allowed a couple of days to dry and the fired up the forge to warm up things and all is good now no other crack has been found.
As described, some surface corrosion but as this is my first purchase of stainless steel I don’t know what I should expect.
